By all means put it on, any diesel glow plugs should have it on. If you've never broken one off a glow plug in a cylinder head, believe me, you don't want to. The thin metal shell is prone to twist off when the threads freeze into the heads. When they break off you're likely pulling the head to remove it. The cylinder heads are cast iron so you need something to help with the galvanic corrosion.

I use never seize after cleaning the body grounds to keep the connections from becoming corroded in the salt bath environment we have in Ohio, it works fine. I also use it on spark plug threads, and on the glow plugs in my diesel trucks.

There are 2 types of never seize, one uses aluminum, and one uses copper, they both will conduct electric, but copper is slightly better.
