The 4-barrel 1964 421 came with the low-performance small valve 345 heads, dime a dozen and nobody’s looking for them or will pay anything for them.
All of the Tri-Power 421 engines that year used the sought after big valve 716 heads. Doubtful this engine has those heads (GTO 389s all used them too) but you never know, chances are slim to none.
The only items of real value are the block and crank. Likely the timing cover is rotten and no longer useable.
So as a runner who knows exactly maybe a grand or so after you’ve done the work extracting it from that wreck. The knowledgeable buyer isn’t going to run it in their car as is nor will they want to pay a lot for parts attached to it they don’t want.
