Baron, You should have posted in the OHC 6 section. lol
The block date code is between the oil fill tube and the rear of the engine. If it is a 68/9 block, a VIN will be located on a vertical pad, left of the oil fill tube on the flange where the bell housing mounts up. The manifold date code is on the bottom side, rear intake runner. The exhaust manifold will make it hard to read. The head code is under the cam tower. So you won’t get that number as the owner will not pull it to get it. If you are serious about it, get the PHS and compare the EUN on the block and paperwork.
