First test batch is finally in!

I tried a set on matte clear thinking they might match the original water slide decal appearance. They could work, but I didn't account for the transparent border the sticker company added which scaled down the art a smidge. Overall, I don't love the appearance as it looks too plasticky and not black enough.





The second batch was from a different sticker company who printed them glossy on white material and did full bleed art. These look more like the reproductions today which are printed on a thin mylar. I'd have no problem using one of these under my hood.





And a comparison between the two prototypes and the existing reproduction.



I should get the water slides later this week. Those were about twice as much as the traditional stickers for half as many. Curious to see how they come out.
