66 GTO Oil pan resting on crossmember
Oil pan resting on crossmember. I also spotted this on the right front mount. Is this due to a Chinese made mount?

I'm not 100 per cent if it's the mount or a frame issue, I lean towards it being the mounts, because I've owned and worked on 10 -12 of ORIGINAL 65-67 GTO cars and never seen this before, my current 66 has after-market engine mounts and the pan rubbed. I ended up buying 1/4 frame plates from someone on this forum.

It does have an aftermarket oil pan. Drain plug is on driver side and seems the drain plug is 21mm. 13/16 won't quite get it so assuming Chinese inferior crap.

It could very well be the result of cheap mounts and poor fitment of aftermarket pan. See photo of my car below, which has the high quality "Torq Lok" mounts sold by Ames. Notice how the tab on the mount is flattened so that there is clearance. You could probably take a grinder to your existing mount and achieve the same result.
