Default Flip face AM/FM 63 radio identification ?

I own a 1963 Grand Prix and wondering is this the right radio ?

from what I find online picture 1 is 63 -64 full size radio
but the face is printed am/fm on it

picture 2 is what I have am/fm numbers flip in background

pic 3 side view of face has same contour as pic 1

picture 4 shows a heat sink that I didn't see on online pics for 63-64 radios

pic5 wires

would this radio work in my car ?
if not what is it for so I can find it a proper home . and get one that fits

thank you for your time
Paul

Agreed.

The radio in the 1st picture is a 1963 since it has 98 & 103 on the dial.
A 1964 radio has 100 & 104 on the dial.

Add to that the '63 radios still have the Civil Defense markers on the AM-band.

Looks like it is a 1970-72 Oldsmobile radio with a 1963-64 Pontiac face and slidebar

Yep. Add a RediRad-FM and you have factory equipment with an AUX-INPUT.
