Bob, let me know how it goes fitwise and all. I may go that route if unable to locate an original.

Bob- please post pics when you receive the hood.
Still undecided if I am going to use a repop 400 hood or t/a style hood on my 67.

Thanks-

John

I still have photos around here somewhere of a 67 Firebird convertible TA clone that I saw at POCI Irvine CA Nationals about ten years ago. Personal opinion? Wrong for that car. The TA scoops are in line with the openings of the 69 grilles, style-wise and size-wise. Plus, the 69 car is wider, better able to handle the width of the scoops.

The 67 and 68 just plain looks better with the 400 scoops.

It's all about opinions, John. You like it? It's your car? Your money? Go for it.

If I ever bought a 67 or 68 that had a TA hood on it, it would be off there the day I brought it home, even if I had to put a flat hood in its place. It just looks wrong to me.
