Great looking peice. How will these compare to the wenzler super cheif heads? If my head porter didnt already place the order, i will ask him to contact you if they are as good. Do they use a stock configured intake like the edelbrock victor race manifold?. thank you

Could always leave the ribs over the center exhaust port and have the slogan.............

Getting head & ribbed for your racing pleasure.

Why not...he's already thanking Larry Davis for it.

The AllPontiac Tiger Heads don't even start to compare to a Super Cheif head. Yes they can use a Edelbrock Victor intake. See our site for more details.

Ray, I think he means the good kind of don't compare. You compare things that are similar and contrast things that are different. I think he is trying to say they are so different you would have to contrast them. Or "they don't start to compare".

Bob, P-dude brought up a good point about combustion chamber size. A 505 with a 80cc head would need a 20cc dish to get a "streetable" 10.5 to 1. That should be OK for a 505 but for bigger motors there may not be enough piston to remove. And forget about boosted motors. Any chance down the road there could be a bigger chamber? We wouldn't need the greastest flow numbers since we can just "turn up the boost". I think a 400cfm head is good for about 1600hp. That will do. Thanks

Mo, I talked to Bob at length about this. He is supposed to cut one up to see how much meat is around the chamber to CNC to a bigger chamber.

Would be nice, huh.

Forgive Ray, everything lately he seems to take as negativity.

Yes they have a better deal. AllPontiac can cast the exhaust port in a stock location for Stock Chassis cars.
Wenzlers are 240 out of the box. Tiger head 400 plus out of the box.

All Pontiac better get a movin on getting these heads out to the public or they will not allowed into the PHR Engine Master challenge. They have to be available to the public before March 31 or they will not be allowed. That wouldnt be good, Im sure that Jon Kaase wont build a Pontiac for it without those heads.

Why have a big chamber? The other guys (chev, ford, mopar) have SMALLER chambers than the Tiger heads for their racing big blocks. Get real. If the Pontiac is going to compete, then it needs the smallest possible chamber for more compression without a power robbing heavy dome. These are not pump gas only heads. Geez. I have to ask, why not have an even SMALLER chamber? But I do know the answer since some are already crying.

bmpmdf....try building a large cubic inch motor and putting boost to it with 45cc heads. Try getting a piston that can be dished deep enough to use and not weigh a ton and detonate to death. It gets to the point where you can only keep the piston down in the hole and use a dished piston, a thick head gasket and head chambers that are opened up. We are not talking about Pro Stock motors here, we are talking about boosted motors. You buy what you need to run 6's. I'll hold my breath. I'll keep looking for what I want.

JEEEEEZZZ!!! Nobody is suggesting that the tiny chamber head (ONLY good for racing) be put out of production. Only asking if maybe the same head could also be offered with a combustion chamber sized for boost and street use. Not all of us want to race pro-stock.

if you make enough power on just the motor you don't need boost!! turbo's are for diesel trucks, superchargers are for old busses, and nitrous is for dental visits!!!! give us a small chamber head!!! 65 cc max!!!

You know, as much crap as someone takes for stepping out on a limb it is a wonder anyone even tries to build a new product. They could have done it like Edelbrock! Just build it without asking anyone in the "know" how to do it i.e. Put the 421 obsolete water holes in them, ancient style chambers, etc.. Ole Vic didn't get his balls busted just for doing something positive because they just did it and we were so eager for something that worked.

The best products in the world come from people who mix their busines with pleasure!! That is, do something for the love of the game and make a few bucks doing it. My guess is they have invested far more than ever expected in time and money and right now, they are worn out and wondering if it is all worth it. If it all works out they will be revered as masterminds. If it fails, they will be the 2 dummies who tried to make a Pontiac part... give them a break. That is business and life wrapped up in a nutshell. The rest need to understand no product will be designed exactly for you. It takes your personal ingenuity to package it and make it work. That is why some are faster than others...

Not necessarily meant to offend anyone, just saying my peace!

Frank and Bob, good luck and please don't give up!
