Can we get some pictures up here? I think Jack and I would like to see what this guy has......While we're at it, does anyone have pics of the Brutus '65 GTO FC when it was running a M/T Pontiac hemi? I've only seen pics from the side and not of the motor.

Jack
Do you by chance have that 63 Catalog? I wonder if it might be what that one page I posted was, and if there is more to it? |

Not sure if Jack has one but I have a M/T Performance Handbook that shows some nice stuff. The page you posted is not in it though, you must have a different one. Rob.....

Too many pages to post? Could you at least scan the cover page, so I can try to find one and will know what I'm looking for? Steve |

Steve, I'll scan a few pages this weekend and post the cover at least. I can e-mail you more if you're interested. I have seen them for sale, not very often but I have seen them. Here's a link to some pics of my hemi stuff.

Tom I dunno about you, but those Hemi heads and especially that Hilborn injection... man they just do it for me. To top it off he has one of THE blocks, Rob is one lucky man!!!!

with mine the O rings were there but were the wrong size to seal.I fought the block for better than 2 years with oil leaks. We found that was leaking along with the threaded plug on the rear drivers side.Tom

Rob's going to let me use his pics for the base of a MT Hemi page, working on it right now. I definitely want a couple of cool documents to go with it, if possible.

Tom S- Just so I understand correctly- is Rob's block one of those few alloy RAV's that were sold by Jim Luikens and Tom Straley?
I've offered to help Rob (if I can) with setting up a nostalgia machine with that block and his hemi heads. Any special comments about the block? How are the sleeves retained- press or shrunk fit? Do you know if notches for the hemi pushrods will break into the water jacket? Thanks. |

Steved400- For your M/T hemi page- if you want pictures of my blown hemi, do you have the Mar/Apr '99 PE magazine? Or perhaps PE keeps old stuff on their website? If not, I could loan you some photos- either my scanner software is messed up or I don't know how to use it- can't get good images.

I don't have any PE back that far, I'd be very happy to put any MT Hemi pics up. There just isn't much out there on them.
And for what it's worth, anything Tom S says about the DS-1001 block... I would take it for gold. |

I was watching a show one night....low and behold a tractor with 3 normally aspirated engines. It won it's class in tractor pulling, and it had 3 455SD motors on it. I couldnt believe it.
I bought the tape! It was way cool. Just thought it was relevant to that other tractor. And here I try to make HP out of them, lol Lynn |

I'll polish it and get some thumbnails another day, I'm tired. Cool stuff is all I can say.
Now if we can just get a picture of those mysterious aluminum RAV heads, I think all will be done. http://www.azalea.net/~steved/mthemi/mthemi.htm |
