ducksgaot, maybee, it depends on if we have my dad's new engine done for his 62 cat. we are bringing 3 cars one way or the other. my Bird will be their for the friday night streetcar deal, my stepmom's car"THE PONTIAC LADY" and either "LIL'CHIEF" or my dad's car. VMP looks to be a lot of fun no matter!!!

car is ready, weather around here hasn't been good yet. hope to have it at the track in a week or two. did get it weighed, 2510 pounds race weight, i am 200# so the car is 2310#.

The weather should be getting better real soon here. Are you ready to take it to the track yet? Make sure you start out on the rich side or you could have a rod thru the block like I did. Mine leaned out because the manifold loosened up so make sure that doesn't happen.
I am putting on a Gutsram with 4 plugged ports,2 800cfm AFB,s mounted sideways with the secondary's disconnected and a new set of tires. Hope to have it ready in a week or two. |

dave the car is ready, even had it down the road once. it seems to want to run.will double check the intake, didn't think of that, thanks for the info. boost should be around 20 pounds. hope to make about 600hp after tuning it. how much power did your make with yours last year?

I am guessing about 325 hp. The biggest problem has been a high speed miss in 4th gear above 7000 rpm which is from the lousy fuel distribution. The Gustram should fix that and hopefully ad some power.
