I remembered to look this morning and it is the passenger side like I thought. The weld joint is directly behind the axle at ride height.

Maybe its a way for them to reduce waste rather than cut into another 20' piece of tube for each system.

so your drivers side was one piece?
So much for the idea someone had that the bend couldnt be made in that machine.
Maybe Chris would care to comment on whats up with the splices.
