If it is making you sick, then you should probably quit "stroking" it. I don't think you will have a good outcome if you continue. If the condition persists for more than 4 hours, then you should probably consult a doctor....

How about a little less drinking and a little more wrenching!

Dick and I are in discussions about doing just that. He is looking into getting a room.

I talked to Dick last week and was working him to come. It would be great to see you two and enjoy some car talk. Work that better half Bob and get a kitchen pass

For someone who's never been to this show before, what can I expect? I see a lot of different events/activities listed on their site but I'm wondering if there's a whole weekend's worth if you don't bring a car. I didn't make it down to Norwalk this year and I'd like to get to at least one "Pontiac" event this summer. Thanks for your input.

I already told her we are coming if we can get a room nearby. I don't live by the "happy wife, happy life" mantra like some guys do. We both do what we want to do.

If you don't bring a car you will be hard pressed to find a weekends worth of activities unless you have a lot of friends that have cars in the show. It is basically a 2 day car show limited to Firebirds. I think last year there were ~600 cars registered. There are a few seminars and I hear Herb Adams is conducting one of them on suspension tricks. There is a nice cruise to Tipp City on Saturday evening which is great if you have a car. There are a few parts vendors that set up - probably 15 to 20 last year. Pretty small swap really.

Hope this helps.

Yes it does, thanks. Sounds like I should pass and maybe attend next year with my car.

Brewster The only thing that comes to mind of any size is a 3-4 day general swap meet & car corral in Barrie Ontario (about an hour North of Toronto). It's been going about 30 years now June & September. The site sold about a year ago and the new owners seem more geared to festivals & concerts. I'll be interested to see in September how this might impact the car show.

There also is a really nice event down in Oshawa on the GM Canada grounds for all GM brands but I think it's pretty well a one day thing.

Other than that several nice smaller weekend swap meet and car shows but not what I'd consider more than a couple hour drive to see.
