Hello Pontiac enthusiast's,
As many of you already know, we have a new Pontiac cylinder head design that flows 400+ cfm out of the box. Our Tiger cylinder head is being cast from 356 aircraft grade aluminum and heat treated to a T-6 rating for strength. We have had a few casting issues and are working to clear these up before releasing our new Tiger heads. We want to provide a quality product to the racer and we are willing to wait a little longer to make sure that happens. I know many of you are impatient, but let me assure you that the wait will be worth it.
Obviously, we all know that a 1,000 plus horsepower can be made with a 400+ cfm head. So just think what can happen with a 400+ cfm head once you port them! Our prototype head, with a "little" massaging, has posted a 470 cfm flow number at 28" of water. How much HP can be made with numbers like this?
Believe me, NOBODY wants these heads to be on the market more than we do. So please have a little patience. Help us promote this product, not condemn it. And who knows how fast you can go with a normally aspirated, traditional Pontiac engine? I know this is going to cause a lot of nay-sayers to go into a feeding frenzy, but without controversy, there would not be progress.
