Does anyone have a rule of thumb for the starter shims that go on top of the stock pontiac starter that bolts to the block? This paticular engine did not have a starter attached to it before we rebuilt it and I've replaced the flexplate with a new stock unit. How do I know if I've got too many or too little? Thanks Everyone!....Gary
