the bonneville ISNT a b-body, i've owned a b-body, the pontiac parisienne, THAT was pontiacs version of the b-body. my brother owned an 85 bonneville, which oddly enough had the same dash as my 85 grand prix, and had the same frame, and the same engine, and the same transmission. because its a four door doesnt mean its not a g-body.
and i'm sure my 9 years of g-body experience and not seeing a 700r4 in any g-body makes me feel pretty confident. go to www.g-body.org also go to groups.yahoo.com/group/gbody/ join up and ask them if a bonneville is a g-body. ask them if a 700 came in a monte from the factory. http://www.montecarloss.com/SS_FAQ_5.html#4 go there...straight from the montecarloss.com site. |
