JR, I had the same problem and just used a pair of needlenosed pliers to "rip" the tab open. Also removed the fuzzy from the tab prior to installation.
If I remember correctly, one side I needed to extend the tab another 1/8" or so to fit in the slot. Again, just using the needlenose. In the end they fit and look great. |
