hey folks, been busy, haven't been around in ahwile, good to be back. i am now working on my "new" catalina, http://216.178.81.108/forums/showthread.php?t=450916 . i am keeping the car basically stock, but i am changing the tripower intake setup to an sd 859 mainfold with superduty carbs. i am going for the sd clone vibe, but do not have everything to do it yet. my question is: to paint that beautiful manifold, or leave it natrual. i think painted is "correct", but man, it looks so good all natural. the engine will get a dressing of new paint, proper valve covers, maybe long branch manifolds, etc, (heads will have to wait, i don't think i need to say why $$$$$ $$$$$ ), but it is/will be all factory parts from 63, for now, and in the future when i acquire more parts. whatcha think, to paint or not to paint??????
