I removed the trans from my 65 GTO today to replace it with an M20 wide ratio. The trans that was in the car was from my brothers 64 GTO. I stated in previous posts that I could document the fact that a 64 GTO was ordered and delivered with a close ratio M21 gearbox. I am now prepared to do that. I have counted the teeth on the gears and verified the vehicle vin number that is stamped on the transmission. I will take pictures and post the information in a day or so. I am not good at crawling under cars anymore and have done enough for today. I just wanted to relay the news to all those so interested.
