68GeeeTO: I would run a copy of this thread off and take it to your autoparts store and ask whether they would like to pay for an engine rebuild since there is a known problem with the Cardone pump, and the next failure might destroy your engine. Request a refund, or barring that, another manufacturer's new pump.

I took this back to the auto parts store and was basically given an Oh-well. These are the only failures that we know of, hang on to the receipt for the warranty on the pump.
(Real Nice, like they cared a lot)
So, I then E-mail Cardone customer service with pics, cost of repair, and the whole nine yards. Their response was even shorter and less caring, not even a sorry buddy. It was this “we don't cover towing”.
I need a p.s pump for my caddy and I will pay extra $$$ for an A/C Delco. Cardone has lost my business.
