Default Tran Am Painted Trim

I just had my car painted bright white. I need to re-finish the front and back window trim and the headlight trim. Should I paint or have it powder coated?

Also what is the correct color or gloss for the trim, I think I would like it a little glossier than factory. Any one with good photos???
