Thanks everyone for all the replies. I think the solution I'll go with is to have the mufflers made in 2.5" IN and 2.25" OUT, so I don't feel like I'm losing anything upstream of the mufflers.

I know the money sounds like a lot, but the DCE system is about a grand, the R.A.R.E. manifolds coated were probably well north of $500, then the remainder of the system is going to eat up at least $500. That is going to be one expensive set of pipes.

The cool thing is the R.A.R.E. manifolds look great, and so far the ceramic isn't wearing off at all.
