Congrats Wyatt! While others are thinking of getting a Civic and putting goofy stuff on it, you went for something a little different that will have character and provide you with some great memories.

Just a little advice, dont worry about making it fast or painting it just yet. Clean it up, make sure everything works on it, especially the brakes, and drive it. Enjoy it before life gets in the way and suddenly that engine swap or paint job you were doing stalls and you havent moved the car in 20 years.

That is a great first car, just enough power to get in trouble, but not so much you will break stuff all the time. It also isnt a generic crap box with a 4 cylinder in it. You done good man.. This is a great place for information and help, plenty of knowledgeable people here who know Pontiacs better than they know themselves.
