Shower faucet replacement.
Do they make new washerless faucets with the same layout as this pic of an old washer style faucet?
 I've got one just like this one in the pic and I think this is what is leaking inside the wall. It's probably the divertor because the washer hasn't been replaced in a decade at least (40 yr old faucet). I can't get the handle off of it anyway. Do they still sell similar style faucets? I don't want to screw with retiling the shower or having a huge retrofit plate to hide the repair for a new single handle faucet. I can cut the drywall behind the faucet for all access. I'd like to replace the faucet in the same tile holes (hot. cold, divertor) with a modern faucet with replacement cartridges. I want to get away from the washers and retain the tile work. |
