Mornin' fellas.
Back from BES and what a cool experience. Tony and his guys are great. Class act all the way. We ran it in on race fuel then switched over to 93 octane pump gas. Had to make some changes to the dist first We started with the 1050 Jeff Esmel built but it was very lean down low (at tip in) then it would pick-up. Switched to 1100 pro syastems carb for first few pulls. Best we got on race fuel was 705hp @ 7200 After we were comfortable with everything, we switched back to Jeff's carb to fatten it up on the bottom without leaning it out on the top end. After a few pulls we were headed in the right direction. This thing LOVES fuel. The more fuel we put to it....the more the torque came on. With Jeff's carb we started with the supplied 86/92 jets and .045 high speed air bleeds and wound up at 99 jets and .026 high speed air bleeds. Horsepower was virtually unchanged between C25 and 93 octane. Best on pump gas was....(going from memory as I forgot the dyno sheets) 704 hp @ 7200 607 tq @ 5100 Can't seem to get vidio clip to load..... |
