upgrading a 70 GTO steering box

Working on my 70 GTO and read an article about using a 91 GTA steering box to upgrade the GTO. Does anyone know if this is a straight swap or is there other issues to consider? Bolt pattern to frame for mounting or new steering shaft? I figure the rag joint probably had not changed in 20 years. thanks for any info!
