Default 2011 Widetrackers Dustoff photos

Well, if it's a drizzly spring day in Michigan it must be time for....

the Widetrackers Chapter of the POCI spring Dustoff car show!

True to form, the day started off kind of punky but we dodged the threat of thunderstorms and actually saw the sun for a while. Car count seemed down a bit, probably because of the weather, but there was still a very good turnout with some really interesting cars.

My camera crapped out before we even started (...this is the replacement camera for the one that crapped out last year at this very same event! I am interested in recommendations, btw). Fortunately, I had my cell phone with me and was able to recover (for the most part), except as noted.

Beautiful black '63 Catalina, HO car, tri tone interior, award the "Best of Show" for this year (I believe this car was formerly owned by Allan Gartzman). Unfortunately, the exterior photo is stuck on my phone so if you'd like to see it you'll have to drive over to my house and I will show it to you. Eric White will be taking more pictures of this car at a later date.

Eric White's (gtoric) convertible is the gold car sitting behind the winner of the '66 GTO class

Interior of Ron MacDonald's black '65 GTO (power steering, power brake, California emissions car)

Interior of the Tiger Gold '65

I love the Formula hoods -

This is the car that Roush used to develop the "disc brake inside the 8 lug drum" product

The "Car Craft Point" - lol

Marge Sawruk and son Jeff presenting the "John Sawruk" award - given to a '73 Astre wagon

Winner of the Mac McKellar memorial award (69 Grand Prix w/ 428 cu in engine - photo stuck on phone)

Mike Morrisey, winner of "Best of Show" with his '63 HO Catalina
