First of all any old classic and/or muscle car is "rarely" used for daily use these days so driving a 2 speed automatic on occassion is no big deal. Plus you get to feel just how it was designed to operate back in the 60's.

Second, to cut open a virgin floor and weld a bracket on the frame of an Original Rare 64 GTO like this would be a CRIME! This would also hinder the value now and in the future.

When I first saw this car on ebay a couple years ago I mentioned putting the 2 spd. shifter on the floor with console, but even that idea would be wrong.
