I applaud his conservancy of the car , but he should have bought a van in '75 and left the TA alone.

On second thought, I suppose if one were to locate an original paint buccaneer '73 TA and swap over the fenders and doors, you could live with the rest of the pinstripes...hmmm, yeah let's do that.
Then you don't have a original panel car. Personally I would try wet sanding the car to get those frames off. I bought a original paint 73 from a member on the site years ago that somebody painted a blue stripe on the deck lid and roof. Wetsanded and buffed it out and its a good 5 footer.
