What's funny is some are like this, and some aren't. Yesterday, we were looking at a Melling Performance Ford 460 pump and it was fine on the mounting foot. They even cut a relief in so the head of the bolt would clear the body. They must just have bad molds at times and those batch's need work, while other sets of molds are fine. This is why we never just bolt on a pump without tearing it completely apart and going through it. Unfortunately, I have never met Bud. Sounds like a great guy.
