Default What are your thoughts/ experiences with Comp Cam Endure X solid roller lifters?

Hi,
I am slowly finishing the grocery list for a 462 stroker that Willie Anderson has put together for me (short block), and I came across a NEW set of comp cam Endure X solid roller lifters for a very good deal.

The motor is going to run SD KRE 295 cfm D-port heads and their Ol' faithful cam.

Now I still need to verify but, I would be surprised if my block has oil restrictors installed in it.

So my question is :

What you guys think or have for experience with the Comp Cam Endure X Solid Roller lifters ( 859-16 ). I was actually going with the Crower hippo lifters but the Comp cam I found would be so cheap compared to the Crower that its got me thinking now.

I know lots of Chevy guys complained that the Comp Cam Endure X lifters wouldn't last, spit bearings etc...

Should I just go with Crower hippos or try the Endure X?

Also would you run restricting push rods with the Endure X? I know some people here don't care about restricting the oil with a solid roller on the street.

So yes I plan on running a Solid roller lifter on the Hydraulic roller Ol faithful.

Thanks
Peter
