I have my customer (and my own) bumpers done at Ti-City Plating in Tennessee. They have always done nice work and always return the bumper I give them. I talk to Porter about my order, and he follows through. To avoid any confusion I use a die grinder and cut my company initials on the backside where the bumper bracket will hide it. If I have special instructions about the bumper, I write it on 2" masking tape and stick it to the bumper, and write it on the packing slip. I've sent bumpers that fit perfect and specify NO RESHAPING NO CHISELING FITS PERFECT, PLATE ONLY. That's what I get back.
I was there earlier this year to pick up a half dozen bumpers. I got to spend about an hour in the shop (nice group of guys) and asked about how they know when one is finally the right shape. I was told that they have done so many over the years, they have taken and saved measurements for about any bumper they do. Measuring tapes, strings and eyeballs do the rest.

With all of that said, I also suggest sending the best core that you can.
