e-bay rape

Hi guys,just wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas on how to remedy my situation.I bought a motor on e bay that wasn't what they said it was.The problem is ,by the time my machinist realized it wasn't a 428 but instead a 400,it was too late to put in a claim to e- bay or to paypal.ANY IDEAS?
