Hi everyone. I'm new to your forum. I purchased the 68 400 from forum member Bet Winner. It is a great car and I'm happy to have it..

I'm looking into a couple of small issues I need a little help with.

#1 the blower motor will not run on high speed. other speeds are OK. It is a factory air car if that makes any difference. I purchased a wiring diagram for a '68 but is not much help.

Where can I buy an accurate wiring manual ????


The gas gauge does not work. It reads far right way past full. I shorted the tan wire in the trunk to ground and it read empty (far left). So I know the gauge and wiring going forward are OK

Do I just drop the gas tank and remove the float assembly and go from there???

I need to replace the valve cover gaskets but the right side looks a little difficult on an air car.

I'm sure I have more questions but those are on my mind now.
