Ok had it with the BOP axle for a variety of reasons.
Going with Ford 9 inch since I have a brand new 4.11 gear set. Putting it behind a 421 HO and 4 speed. WEEEEEEEE!!!! So aside from a big pile of tires I need a case. I want to use my American Torque thrusts which of course rub the quarter panels. Anyone find out an application to use that is about 2 inches more narrow than the GM axle? I can use a set of brackets off a junk GM 65-65 rear if someone has them out there, or we can just make our own. I'm sure I'm not the first guy that wants a sturdy rear that fits aftermarket wheels and big tires better. |
