rear main seal question
Can the rear main seal be changed to a one piece seal with out pulling the engine? The engine is in a '69 Firebird with a 350 & manual trans.
It seems to me that it probably can't but just wondering what others have done. The transmission has to be removed to change the seals as well so we will be looking right at that rear main.
