couple of 68-69 headlight actuator questions
1) Should the rubber dust boot on the headlight actuators suck in? I believe there is some kind of vacuum leak within the actuator pod causing the rubber dust boot on the shaft to suck inward.
2)On the passenger side actuator, should the helper spring be the same distance from the actuator shaft? I am trying to determine if something is tweaked with my assembly, My spring is makes contact with the shaft on the passenger side assembly. Any input would be appreciated. |
