What happens when every driverless car captures you speeding or blowing a stop-sign, or changing lanes improperly, and automatically notifies the Police, after capturing a recording (evidence) of your (electronic?) license plate and velocity via their on-board radar? Most folks will give in and be scared to control a vehicle when being surveilled with no warrant 24/7/365.

Exactly, And then they surveil you in the driver-less cars, and drones, and cameras everywhere we go. And we're letting it happen. 1984!!
