I would never do it..dont care if it was behind the same engine or not...not in a funny...
I was going to run a $7k glide until I started talking to smarter people then me ( not hard to find) .. trans companies and racers.... ended up spending the extra for the lenco... also went from a 2 to a 3 spead as the there was way too much drop in rpm from first to second...motor didnt like it..with the Lenco you just bolt another gear on between 2nd and the reverser...
Wish them the best and hope it works for them especially from a safety stand point. It's a dangerous sport and safety is not somewhere to cut corners...
