Here ya go. If there was ever an engine that was high strung and lacked a lot of torque, it's this one. With a 780 holley, a 254 @ .050 cam, all in a little 302, it's certainly a little high strung but with the right tuning applied it can be made to be an excellent driver. Knocks down 14 mpg city and 17 mpg highway, and that was before the 5 speed swap. I've spent quite a bit of time tuning it, throttle response is very crisp and quick. 11:1 compression with iron heads and runs on 91 octane.

Been daily driving this thing for almost 3 years now. As you can see, considering it's nature, it has no issue what so ever loafing around town and doesn't complain while doing it.
