I would only buy them when its from a legit company who buys the casting and inspects them before they go for sale. (Like Goatzilla probably does) Even better if its someone who buys the bare castings and puts quality components in them.
For sure its a much better deal than going through factory iron heads. You will for sure bolt on power. WIth that said, Im building a budget BBC for a race car. EVERY SINGLE dyno I have seen that compares speedmaster/Promaxx etc chinese castings to a serious set of Dart or Brodix heads, they give up significant power to the American castings. So for budget better than factory heads, yeah no brainer. But as cast you are going to give up power to most bigger name heads.
