My point was that the combination may not make its peak power at 5500 rpm. Not the ability to "rev it" to that or a higher rpm.

Regarding valve springs if it were me I'd look at PAC Racing or K-Motion for a suitable spring for adequate pressure with the Voodoo lobe.
