Very few people who have commented really didn't understand the question asked.

It wasn't a question about transplanting an LS into a Pontiac....

It was a question asking if an Old School Pontiac could be built to perform similar to an LS....

As others who have read and understood the question have said, they are two completely different animals. I believe a Pontiac can compete and even surpass the LS up to about 700HP and It would do it with Torque. However as we inch up past 800-900 to over 1000... the Pontiac would be left in the dust. Not because the Pontiac cant be built to make that Power... its because it wont live long making that kind of power. The LS will do it all day reliably.

If God had a V8 powered chariot it would be running an LS. The LS is Gods chosen engine.

SPEED SAFE, NICK
