NEW CLUTCH LINKAGE ISSUES
i have installed a new z bar, clutch pedal rod, adjustment rod in my 69 GTO and in my 70 GTO. Both are having the same issue, can't adjust clutch and get free play. I have restored several pontiac over the years and never ran into this .
Both cars drove fine before, I installed RA manifolds and exhaust on the 70 GTO, I thought that might be the issue as the linkage stops at the manifold but the stock manifolds are close in that area. The 69 GTO has the same RA manifolds and exhaust also. I even installed old rods and z bar and still the same issue. Anyone else ran into this ?
