People come right across the line here from GA, buy the car, pay the SC sales tax and leave. They pay registration in their state and property tax I guess but they DO NOT pay sales tax again!!!! GA doesn't have a sales tax on vehicle purchases.

You may have been an honor graduate from the SC police academy, but that doesn't mean you know anything about GA law.

Here's the link to TN sales tax law. Show me where it says that if you buy a car in SC you are exempt from paying TN sales tax...
