My 68 was a wet climate car. Was in Pensacola. I think the rear window channel held water and rusted through FAST.
No water, no rust! Living in this dry SW climate is a different world than places with 50% RH all the time. Add road or airborne salt and it's yet another level of aggression. I do remember it was easy to pull the window and replace it. Butyl rope is what I recall...?? |
