Newbie to Pontiac
I have purchased my first pontiac a '70 Firebird w/455
Engine reportedly was gone through about 800 miles ago . I have low oil pressure 10psi or less at hot idle 30 psi at 3000 rpm I have changed the oil and tested it on a Snap On gauge same results ,no real answers from the seller.I was wondering what the chances are a galley plug came out. If I pull the timing cover and look if I have to pull the pan the motor is coming out, anyone know of a good machine shop in Houston or within a couple of hundred miles Thanks JWB |
