Default Taillight panel rib color

So I am taking a shot at painting my rear panels on the car. I like the illusion of one taillight across the whole rear. With that said the marimba red paint does not match my taillights- they are darker more maroon. I am not planning to change the tail light lens and don’t care about correct originality.

So my question to the group-how do I either (1) adjust my marimba paint with another coat on top or below to better match, or (2) forget the marimba red I have altogether and look for a closer color elsewhere in a rattle can. If this, any ideas where/how?

Thanks for any thoughts. I am taped off and ready to go.
