Some time back I installed a TKX from Silver Sport Transmissions and it came with their shifter stick that looks a lot like a Hurst shifter stick. I'd say they did a fine job, only the OCD in me got the better of me and I really wanted my shifter stick to have a stamped "HURST" in it. The closest one I could find is the #5387438 which is about the same length and angle, but it is also bent to the left (unlike the SST stick and an original 1969 Hurst stick for a muncie).
Below are pics of the SST in the car, comps of the two sticks together, and then the Hurst stick in the car. One thing that helps a lot is the fact that the new Hurst stick mounts to the right on the transmission which keeps the overall hand position not too far off from where it was before. I will take my first drive in it tomorrow when I drive to work (yes, this car is my daily driver) I thought about modifying an original, but the overall length would make the shifter sit much higher than one of these due to the higher mounting point. Id' be cutting/ welding and rechroming to make that work. This was much easier.
