This is my first manual 60’s car and it definitely needs a clutch. Car is a 68 Firebird 400 with the original 4 speed. The car has headers, edelbrock intake, brawler carb and an unknown aftermarket cam from the 70’s. The car also has a 12 bolt with 4.11 gears.
The car seems to run strong for the little bit I’ve driven it (sat for about 40 years). Can anyone suggest a good replacement clutch? I don’t need anything extreme, just something a little better than stock that will survive some spirited driving. The car will probably never see the track. Thanks in advance, Jeremy |
