I acquired a basket case 1965 GTO Tri-Power car, that came with a Nodular case '67 3.55 posi diff that was all disassembled. I popped the cover off and discovered that the bearing caps are missing. Car was bought from the widow of the PO, and she has no clue about any of this.
How difficult would it be to install caps from a donor BOP diff and get it line bored? Maybe I should just junk it and get a QP 9 inch or build an 8.5 BOP, since it is not original to the car anyways? I'm an hour north of the WA/Canada border, and Pontiac parts are scarce up here. Cheers, Brian
